Deane Public Works Ltd are proud to congratulate our Finance Director Janet Deane, on her election as Vice President of the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) at the Federation’s 81st Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 2 June at Riddell Hall Belfast.
The event marked a significant milestone for the organisation, combining the AGM with the launch of CEF’s first-ever Annual Conference. An exciting new platform dedicated to addressing the key challenges and opportunities shaping Northern Ireland’s construction and built environment sector.
The AGM also signalled the beginning of a new leadership chapter for the Federation, with Gareth Loye appointed as President and Janet Deane stepping into the role of Vice President. Members and stakeholders from across the industry gathered for the occasion, reflecting on the past year, confirming governance appointments and engaging in meaningful discussion about the future direction of the sector.
Janet’s appointment is a well-deserved recognition of her expertise, commitment and leadership within the industry. It also represents an important step forward in strengthening the representation of women in construction, highlighting the growing influence and impact of female leaders in shaping the sector’s future.
In her new role, Janet looks forward to working closely with CEF members to help drive progress and build a stronger, more resilient construction industry across Northern Ireland.
We are immensely proud to see Janet’s leadership recognised at this level and are confident she will make a valuable contribution to the Federation and the wider industry.
